Sci-Fi Textures from Eni Oken's "Painting Dimensional SciFi Textures for Realtime class" June 2001.

Some of these textures have been published in the book "Get in the game! Careers in the game industry" by Marc Mencher (New Riders) 2002.

 
Inspiration for my work I find in objects all around me. Not that I'm going to compare myself to
the great architect Antoni Gaudi, but like him I do like to mix different historical styles.
For these particular textures I have been inspired by late nineteenth century styles and Ridley Scott's "Alien".
 
I use several layers for my textures, making a composite of photos, different shapes and custom brushes.
